Peyton Robinson is a Chicago-based photographer and writer.
A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, she honed both her photographic and prose skills, of which she has had a long held passion.
Peyton is a staff writer for RogerEbert.com and Cinema Femme. She is a yearly programmer for the Cinema Femme Short Film Festival, hosted by Chicago’s iconic Music Box Theatre. She also has bylines with Jumpcut Online and Film School Rejects. With the latter, she had a column, Carnage Classified, where she investigated different franchises and subgenres in the horror sphere.
Her photographic clients include Select Model Management, 10mgmt, Stewart Talent, Neiman Marcus, and Timeline Theatre.
Her creative approach—no matter the medium or form—is to investigate the feeling behind a story. Latching onto this pathos is what sets her work apart.
